Harbour towns

The mussel town of Løgstør is far from the hustle and bustle of the big city and its crowded pedestrianised streets, where the bustle takes everyone's breath away.

Løgstør is filled with a calm maritime atmosphere where you can stroll down the pedestrian street, all the way down to the harbour and enjoy the view of the beautiful Limfjord.

You can experience a boat trip in Frederik VII's canal and if you drop by on the 2nd weekend in July, the city is put on the other end for the annual Mussel Festival.

Hvalpsund Ferry and Marina is also worth a visit when you're on holiday with us.

Hvalpsund is a maritime paradise with access to the three fjords - Limfjorden, Skive Fjord and Hjarbærk Fjord. This makes Hvalpsund Marina a meeting point for many yachtsmen.

During the summer, a local trumpeter plays the sunset every evening at the harbour.

When in Hvalpsund you have the option to take the ferry “Mary” to Sundsøre.
